Reflections
 The Prodigal Son
nahirap sinabi sa verse na yon na “this thy brother was dead, and
is alive again; and was lost, and is found’ (15:32).” Ibig
sabihin he is dead in a way that he closed his minds and hearts
and choose own pleasure and being selfless. Yung is alive again
akong sariling karanasan at ngayong sobrang nag sisisi ako dahil

gumaling sa 12 years niyang sakit.

 The Parables of Kingdom

Parable of Sower
- This is the type of person Jesus desires for us to be. Seeds
have no control over what kind of soil they fall on, but we do
have control over what kind of soil we will be for the seed. We
have the option of responding to the gospel. When adversity
strikes, we have the option of remaining faithful to the gospel
or abandoning it. When life becomes monotonous or stressful, we
have the option of bearing fruit for the kingdom. That's the kind
of message Jesus sends to us.

Parable of the Weeds

- The harvest is at "the end of the age" in these parables, and
it is the time when God's people will be resurrected to be with
the Lord forever. These kingdom descriptions conclude with
Christ's return, rather than beginning with it. These parables
describe a kingdom that exists now, as well as a kingdom that
will include a future judgment. This is how Jesus described the
gospel of God's kingdom when he preached it. He was not preaching
about a golden age of peace and prosperity, but about a long
period of development during which his disciples are to bear
fruit for the kingdom.

Parables of Growth
- These parables are not about a future golden age. They do not
fit with a kingdom that begins in a blaze of glory with the
return of Jesus. Rather, these parables describe God's kingdom,
which exists for many years before Christ's return. These
parables describe the kingdom's long, slow growth. God's kingdom
is not merely a seed, nor is it merely a fully grown plant. It's
the whole story—something small that grows into something big.

Hidden Treasures
- Again, the kingdom is small and hidden at the start of the
story, but it does not stay that way. According to the
traditional interpretation of these parables, when we hear the
message of the kingdom, we should be so filled with joy that we
are willing to give up everything else. That is correct. But we
will never be able to "buy" the kingdom or earn our salvation.
Rather, in these parables, Jesus may be the main character. He is
the one who discovers hidden treasure among his people and spends
everything he owns to obtain the prize. The value may not be
obvious right now, but it exists.

Good Fish, Bad Fish

- God's kingdom captures both good and bad people. The message is
delivered to both parties. They live together and have the
opportunity to change and grow. When the time comes for judgment,
God will keep what is good. He enjoys the bad, seeks the bad, and
desires the bad, but he does not want them to remain bad.
However, some people choose to remain bad. God gives everyone
time, but there will be a judgment. That is what God's kingdom is
like.
