ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

The COVID-19 global pandemic has greatly affected education around the world. The
government decision to lock down the country, forced schools to shift from traditional
face-to-face teaching to an online learning environment. In this assignment, you are
required to:

1. Do a literature review on teaching and learning of mathematics during the


COVID-19 focus on lower secondary mathematics syllabus. Summarize and
discuss THREE method that had been used.

2. Develop a lesson plan based on online teaching activities on topic - Primeter &
Area for lower secondary students. Your lesson plan should include the
following information:
(i) Day, date and time
(ii) Age of students
(iii) Teaching period
(iv) Existing knowledge of students
(v) Learning objectives
(vi) Teaching aids
(vii) Procedure (Induction, activity and closing)

3. Make a short lesson recording based on the lesson plan above. Duration of 10
to 15 minutes of instruction. Then, this video needs to be uploaded to the
YouTube site and provide a YouTube link in your assignment.

4. Reflect on the lessons that have been made and state the improvements that
you can do in the future.

Pandemik global COVID-19 telah mempengaruhi pendidikan di seluruh dunia. Keputusan


kerajaan untuk menutup negara, memaksa sekolah beralih dari pengajaran tradisional
secara bersemuka ke persekitaran pembelajaran dalam talian. Dalam tugasan ini, anda
dikehendaki untuk:

1. Lakukan tinjauan literatur mengenai pengajaran dan pembelajaran matematik


semasa COVID-19 tumpuan kepada sukatan pelajaran matematik menengah
rendah. Ringkaskan dan bincangkan TIGA kaedah yang telah digunakan.

2. Membangunkan rancangan pengajaran berdasarkan aktiviti pengajaran dalam


talian bagi topik - Primeter & Kawasan untuk pelajar menengah rendah.

laman YouTube dan memberikan pautan YouTube dalam tugas anda.
