I. OBJECTIVES
1. Identify in a review the speech context, speech style, speech act, and communicative
strategies presented in comic strips ;
2. Define the following terms: language form, duration of interaction, relationship of
speaker, role and responsibilities of the speaker, message, and delivery;
3. Explain that a shift in speech context, speech style, speech act, and communicative
strategy affects the language form, duration of interaction, relationship of speaker, role
and responsibilities of the speaker, message, and delivery;
4. Apply learnings thru exercises and activities.
