PNP Contract no RHQCC/2021-2Z/FOA-087 dt 03-Sept-21

Subject: Addition in scope of work due to new scope for Flare & Dispatch area

Delimit of SOR ltems in Composite Contract

Dear Sir,

to bring to your notice that few new items are getting added in
This is SOR of Composite contractor along
with addition and deletion of existing line-item quantities

As you may be aware that SOR for Composite contractor was issued on a fast-track basis to facilitate the early
start of civil works. At that time, Engineering for EPCM scope was in progress and flare mitigation & Dispatch
area scope were part of additional scope. We have tried to foresee and added all the line items in SOR to the
extent possible; however, few line items were left out and the same needs to be included in composite
contract as extra item. The intent of adding following items to the existing composite contractor's scope; is
to avoid lining up new contractor, which will take more time to finalise a nd may affect the overa ll completion
date.

1) Electrical items for OSBL Scope like SVL with Link Box & Without Link box, Trefoil Cable Clamps,
Junction Boxes, Modification of existing Feeder at SS 22 to power Pre-Engineered Building (PEB).

2) Additional scope of work for Flare Mitigation: Alloy steel Piping ltems, MCT Block for cable entry at
Control Room, lnstallation of specific lnstruments.

3) Addition in Scope of work at Dispatch area: Painting and lnsulation for Personal Protection.
4) Civil scope of work for electrical work in Substation 26: Civil work for Transformer, Cable trench,
Hume Pipes

We would request you to provide the in-principle approvalto add the extra line items in M/s PNP scope of
Work, as part of their scope of work. Also request to de limit the SOR items in composite contractor to
facilitate payment to contractor for any increase and decrease in quantities of SOR ltem.

Following are the composite contract details awarded to M/s PNP.

1) Original Value of Composite Contact Rs. 52.69 Crores

2) Value of Additional ltems (Refer Annexure-l) Approx. Rs 2.65 Crores

3) % lncrease in order Value due to new items s.03 %

4) Value of Reconciled SOR (Refer Annexure-ll) Rs. 49.79 Crores

5) % Difference in Order Value due to reconciliation Red uction by Approx. 5%

We foresee that the order value at completion with the addition of new quantities may not exceed the Total
Contract Value awarded to M/s PNP.

Tha nking you,

Yours faithfully,
