Day 2: Plants have different parts.
( Meeting Time 1 to Work Period 1)

I. OBJECTIVES/CONTENT STANDARDS:
At the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to:
a. Identify different parts of a plant.
b. Observe, describe, and examine common plants using their senses.
c. Perform and answer tasks given.

a. Performance Standard:
Communicate the usefulness of plants and practice ways to care for them.

Show cooperation and willingness during activity.

Plants have different parts.

IV. PROCEDURE (Meeting Time 1)
A. Preparatory Activity:
1. Daily Routine
2. Setting of Standards: What will you do when the lesson is going on?
3. Review of the past lesson (mga tanum sa palibot). There are different kinds of plants around
us like trees, flowers, vegetables, fruits, vines, etc.
4. Motivation
 Show pictures of plants and make them tell its: name, kind, who has this kind of plant in
their backyards or farm?.
 What parts of the plant can be used for human consumption?

B. Activity Proper:

1.0 Presentation
Describe the picture

DISCUSSION:
Subong nga adlaw, paga tun-an ta ang mga nagkalain-lain nga parte sang isa ka tanum.
Ask:
 Ano ini nga parte sang tanum? Ano ang kolor o duag sini nga parte?

 Ano ini nga parte sang tanum? Ano ang kolor o duag sini nga parte?

 Ano ini nga parte sang tanum? Ano ang kolor o duag sini nga parte?

1. I-grupo sang maestra ang mga bata.
2. Ang kada grupo tagaan sang sang teacher sang kanya-kanya nga task.
3. Ang kada grupo maghimo sang task nga ginhatag sa ila para i-pacheck sa teacher
pagkatapos

Transition : Teacher will give the instructions on how to do each activity.

a. The group will be given materials ( paper, leafs of different kinds, crayons) to trace the leaves on the
paper and create an artwork. .

GENERALIZATION:

Do all plants bear fruits?
Aside from given examples, give some more example of plants you see around us?
