Lesson idea implementation:
The students will watch videos about the lives and contributions of historical figures in the state of
Georgia. After watching videos of historical figures students will be able to describe contributions
and lives of these people. The students after will watch my adobe express about a historical figure
of my choosing. After this I will go in detail and step by step on how to create an Adobe Express
account and video for the students to follow. There will also be a video for the students to watch for
them to be able to go back and watch for reference if they need more time. The students will create
a story board of how they want their adobe to look like. After learning about Adobe Express and
creating a story board the student will create their own video about a historical figure they selected.
Once completed they will share it with the class.
Managing student learning:
Students must submit a storyboard before creating their Adobe Express

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection: Be sure to mention one specific UDL principle you
are focused on in this lesson – Multiple Means of Engagement, Multiple Means of Representation,
or Multiple Means of Action & Expression.
These activities and technology tools support and enhance the learning experience for the students
in the classroom by giving them information on the topic and understanding the concept by creating
their own story board and Adobe Express. The student will select a historical figure of their choice
and describe their life and contributions. The creation of the adobe express is a very hands-on
activity for students their age which will be entertaining. This will impact student learning by keeping
them engaged and providing information on the topic they are learning about.
Reflection: I feel excited about this lesson, I think it is a great way to allow students to use different
forms of technological tools they usually don’t use or see. The part of the lesson I look forward on
implementing is when the students select their own historical figure. I look forward to this because it
allows students some freedom to show their creativity and knowledge about this figure and creating
a short video on Adobe Express.
