WEEK 35: VALUE FOR WORK

What did I learn? Action Plan for the Week:

1. Is my method of working similar to others? Decide

Value for work is a method for us to appreciate the
task that has been handed to us, and it is the
importance we attach to our work, which in turn
affects how we approach accomplishing it. It has to
do with the effort we put in, the knowledge and skills
we employ, the resources we contribute, and the
enthusiasm we show. Whatever the task, how we
judge the value of our work depends on how it
impacts the company, agency, or organization. If we
properly balance the negative aspects of random work
against the positive aspects of excellent work, we will
naturally comply with demands or expectations.

their input by paying them for it. to increase the
effectiveness of my work while instructing others on
my methodology.
2. From this point on, I'll keep learning to appreciate
how much my coworkers cherish their work. Respect
my bosses, colleagues, and the unique qualities they
bring to the office.
Reflection
In all we do, we are exhorted to "work
wholeheartedly as for the Lord and not for people,"
for if the former becomes the driving force, then the
value of our job will be focused on acquiring honor,
glory, and money. Additionally, when objectives are
not realized, we periodically underestimate our
accomplishments, which reduces the significance of
working life. This shouldn't be taking place.
As we consider the "value of labor" this week, may
we never forget to put God first in whatever we do.
According to the Bible, "because it is He who works
in us, giving us the desire and the power to do what
pleases Him." This will show us how to treat our jobs
and coworkers with the same respect that we do for
God.

PRAYER

"Lord, help me to utilize the time you give me for work properly and not to waste any of it. Teach me to
see Your plan without torturing myself, to plan out my job without being upset if it doesn't turn out as I
had hoped. Teach me to learn from my past mistakes and not let uncertainty dominate me. Teach me to
blend calm and intensity, hurry and slowness, zeal and peace. Please guide me in the most difficult stage
of my work: the beginning. Come help me in focusing while working. Lord, most importantly, fill in the
gaps in my labor. Amen
