What did I learn? Action Plan for the Week:

1. For individuals, work is an important
feature in structuring: personal and social
identity; family and social bonds; ways of
making money, and thereby accessing a
number of essential and non-essential
goods, services and activities; daily routines;
level of activity; physical and mental well-
being; self-confidence.
Work Value means a measure of the job’s
worth in comparison to the relative
worth of other jobs in the organization,
and is determined by the systematic
analysis and evaluation of knowledge and
skills, task complexity, and decision
accountability in a job.
Teach my student to value their work, to have
more interest and eagerness in their studies as
well as to be good and responsible children. they
should inculcate in their mind the value of work
which give them a better life.
As a teacher, I will teach myself to value my
work as a teacher not only for this week but
always.
Reflection:
  When instructors engage in reflective teaching,
they are dedicating time to evaluate their own
teaching practice, examine their curricular
choices, consider student feedback, and make
revisions to improve student belonging and
learning. This process requires information
gathering, data interpretation, and planning for
the future. Reflective teaching involves
examining one’s underlying beliefs about
teaching and learning and one’s alignment with
actual classroom practice before, during, and
after a course is taught.
When teaching reflectively, instructors think
critically about their teaching and look for
evidence of effective teaching. This critical
analysis can draw on a variety of Instructors who
can use various tools and methods to learn from
these sources and reflect on their teaching,
ranging from low-key to formal and personal to
inter-collegial. For example, reflective teaching
may include self-assessment. Because each
semester’s students and their needs are different,
reflective teaching is a continual practice that
supports effective and student-centered teaching.

Prayer:

Father, thank you for all the ways you’ve blessed me, specifically with this job that pays my
bills and puts food on my table. Thank you that ALL work has significance because work is
good. Help me bring you glory today, through my actions, my words, through the good work
I do to bring order to my little corner of the world. Help me view my work as a blessing and
not a curse. Give me grace and strength for the hardest aspects of my job. In Jesus’ Name, I
pray, Amen.
