 Read pages 163-165 of the textbook
 Individual Task: Art/ Photo Appropriation
 Choose any PAINTING or SCULPTURE (made by a local or foreign artist) or an ICONIC
popular movie/TV/anime character.
 Imitate the chosen art and take a photograph.
 You must appear in the photo and not someone else. Your image in the picture must be
identifiable as you.
 If you wish to do some innovations of the original artwork, make sure your
appropriation is highly creative and close to the original.
 Write the basic documentary information of both works like title, artist, year, medium,
location/provenance.
 If film, write the title of the film, name of director, year it was made
 Submit in a PPT file format (1 slide only) the picture of the original artwork and beside it
is your appropriation. Make sure both entries contain the basic documentary
information.
