Greeting & 1. Greet the class and take the attendance.


Warm-up 2. Do the Warm-up activity.
(5-10 min.) - Write the review sentence patterns from Unit 11 and 13 on the board.
Have each student write a sentence on a piece of paper. Collect the pieces
of paper and write the sentences on the board. Go over the mistakes to
make sure the students know what is wrong and how to make the
sentences correct.

(35-45 min.) 1. Have students read the sentences and circle the correct words to complete PPT Tool
the sentences and questions. Slide 3
2. Have the students read their answers together or individually.
3. Go over the answer together using PPT Tool Slide 3. Have the students correct
any errors.

1. Have students read the sentences, put a check mark next to the correct verb PPT Tool

2. Check students’ answers and comprehension by asking students to read the

1. Have students read the sentences and find the mistakes. Then have them rewrite
the sentences correctly on the lines.
2. Check students’ answers and comprehension by asking having students read the
questions and answers. Use PPT Tool Slide 6 to check the answers and have the
students correct any errors.

Extension Activity

1. Do the True or False extension activity.
- Prepare a list of present simple sentences (correct and incorrect
sentences).
- Divide the class into two teams. Have the teams line up in two lines in
facing the teacher.
- Read a sentence out loud. Have the first students in the line in each team
say whether the sentence is true or false.
- The student of the team that is correct gets a point for their team. The next
two students in the lines do the same. The team with the most point wins.
2. Depending on the students’ level, challenge students by doing the alternative
activity.

Wrap-up Activity Unit 11-13


(5-10 min.) Do the Wrap-up activity. Review Picture
- Mix the cards and hand out a card to each student. Have students find the Cards
student with the same card. The students who have found their pairs go to
the teacher to say their sentence together. If they say a correct sentence,
they can go back to their seats.
