Assessment
Reflection: I was very nervous for this lesson today. It was my first time standing in front of
these students. I was expecting to rush much more. I went at a good pace, though, and I feel like
I had some great interactions with the students. As I was speaking, I was aware of side
conversations and fidgeting going on in the background. I did not comment on everything I heard
and saw. Next time I will establish better classroom management skills to ensure that the
students understand that I am their teacher during these lessons. For next lesson, I will stress the
importance of raising hands and waiting turns to speak.
