Let the learners identify each musical instruments that produces high and low pitch based on the
given picture.
Let the learners answer the question:
1. What are the musical instruments that produce high pitch?
2. What are the musical instruments that produce low pitch?

* Discussion on the definition musical phrases
* Differentiate the two musical phrases of the given song “Ugoy and Duyan”
Demonstrate the Differentiate the two musical phrases of the given song “Ugoy and Duyan”.
1. The 4 staffs of the given musical piece
2. The first and third staff are the antecedent phrase.
3. The second and fourth staff are the consequent phrase.
4. Sing the whole song and let the learners evaluate the song and it’s meaning.
Divide the class into 4 groups.
1st and 3rd group will be singing the antecedent phrase on the other hand the 2nd and 4th group will
be singing the consequent phrase.
Ask the learners what is the song all about and how it is sang.
Have the learner answer the question: what did you feel after singing the song “Ugoy ng Duyan”
Group Activity: Singing the song “Ugoy ng Duyan”.
Choose 1 representative for each group to sing Infront of the class, with this activity their self-confidence and
talents in singing will be developed
