I. RATIONALE

Land survey is one of the critical components of the Land Tenure Improvement (LTI) processes under
the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP).

In view of the continuing efforts of DAR Sultan Kudarat in the implementation of CARP, the LTI
Division has 41 landholdings covering 376.8994 hectares of lands for survey this year 2021 located in
Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.

Out of 41 LHs, eight are already included in Optool database and 33 LHs are for inclusion. These
landholdings were identified by field personnel in MARO Columbio and validated to be coverable
pursuant to RA 6657.

Per 2020 GAA of DAR and specifically for the Province of Sultan Kudarat, there is no budget
allocation for the New Lands Survey. Hence this request.

II. OBJECTIVE

To conduct field survey of the forty (41) landholdings located in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat
with a total area of 366.8699 hectares to be subdivided for the year 2021 but not included in the
previous years’ target.

III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

a. Scope

The scope would cover 366.8699 hectares of collective CLOAs for subdivision survey and
individual titling located in the municipality of Columbio, Sultan Kudarat. The site is selected based
on the number of ARBs, area in hectares under collective CLOA and potential approved subdivision
plan within the year 2021.

VI. SOURCE OF FUND

Funding of the total budget of One Million Eight Hundred Four Thousand Two Hundred
Sixty-Six (Php 1,804,266.00) shall be charged against funds provided by the Survey Fund to be
downloaded by the DARCO BLTI.
