1. Define beauty. What is beautiful for you?

Beauty is usually defined as to things that are seems to be pleasant in our eyes, however if I were
to define beauty, for me, beauty is when you no longer compare things to others and begins to
accept yourself as the real definition of beauty. Beauty starts within ourselves, on how we
perceive things, on how we internalize the concept of everyone has its own uniqueness and that
everyone is perfect and beautiful into their own version of themselves. It is beautiful for me when
I see people disregard others’ opinions about their physical self because they know themselves
better than others do and that they are already the standard. That they don’t need what the society
have set for everyone to be define as beautiful because they are confident enough that they hold
the word” beauty” within them. It is truly beautiful when I see people accepting what they are,
what the creator have created for them and loving their physical self even more because they
know that they are worth it, and worth to be love for.

2. How do you see your physical self? How do significant people contribute to the way you see
yourself?

I see my physical self as uniquely beautiful. I have always responded “alam ko and thank
you”, to those people who compliments me for being beautiful. I see myself as worth to be called
for such term because I believe that I deserve it and everyone does. I have accepted my flaws and
that I see them as imperfectly perfect because I believe that God gave me those as a gift.
I am also thankful to people around me for helping me to boost myself even more. They
are always there to encourage me not to give importance to negative thoughts and unpleasant
comments from others about me because they aren’t entitled to do so. Those significant people
around me keeps me from being motivated and to have enough trust for myself.
