Health and Safety Policy
High Q Training Center is committed to all health and safety policies and
procedures either inside the Institute or outsideof the training premises. Our
policy states clearly that the trainers must increase the awareness of health
and safety procedures throughout the training programmes. Our policyis
updated and reviewed regularly to stay compliant with regulations and best
practices in health and safety aspects.
First impressions are important. Be sure to check the outsideof the building
every day, and ensure that the outside facilities are well maintained: the
façade is clean and the outside signs are clean and visible. All lights must be in
good working order. Illuminated signs must be turned on during the
appropriate periods of darkness. The entire territory of the facility—Like the
lobby to the training Center ,the entrance of the training center and the Sign
Board is visible and clean .
The lobby/reception is your business card and therefore mustbe neat and
clean at all times. Lack of order and of cleanliness gives the customer an
immediate bad impression of the whole organization—not just of your facility,
but of theHighQTraining Center in general.
The Academic Director must ensure that public spaces are checked
periodically during the day, e.g. in the lobby/reception or adjacent lounge
areas check tables andcounters after each break to ensure that they are
clear of food and drink containers.
. • If you have a smoking area, schedule several times a day, or after each
break, to clean ashtrays and the area in general.
. • Plants and/or flowers make the lobby look good; ensure that they are well
cared for, appropriately displayed and thatthe area around them is clean.
Remove dead plants.
• All light fixtures and lights bulbs in ceilings and lamps mustbe in good
working order. Any defective fixtures or burned out bulbs must be replaced
immediately

As with the reception/lobby your facility offices send a message about your
business—its organization and professionalism. The facility must always be

hardware. Be aware that in classrooms food and drink could spoil the facility.
Many facilities allow private customers to have coffee or water in their class.
If you allow this, be sure to monitor the rooms regularly for both dirt andused
cups or dishes.
The Academic Director must ensure that restrooms are checked for
cleanliness and supplies periodically during the
day: ensure that toilet tissue, soap, paper towels, etc. arealways
available.

This policy applies to all service users and the staff of theInstitute. The
staff required to keep high standard of cleanliness and hygiene with the
Institute.
Responsibilities
. • Staff dealing with body fluids will always wear gloves anda plastic apron.
The Institute will educate the staff on how the infections are transmitted and
how to prevent themselves and others.
Therefore, all staff are encouraged to take their responsibility on adhering to
hygienic practices and be a role models to thelearners.
The Institute has cleaning log sheet to monitor the cleaner’s performance
throughout the day. The Institute manager doesa regular tour twice at least
within the Institute. The external training coordinator checks health, safety and
hygienic aspects on outside training venues. The Institute undertakes a regular
risk assessment analyses to monitor any risk factors.
The Academic Director and the staff will Maintain the Health and Safety policy
of HighQ Training Center and will assure thestudents will follow the policies to
maintain the smooth and healthy environment of the Center.
