III. PROCEDURES/
STRATEGIES
A. Motivation The teacher will show a set of numbers and the students will individually
choose two numbers and explain it why did they chose the numbers.
Subsequently, the teacher will connect the lesson with the activity performed
by the students.
B. Presentation of the After an interactive motivational activity, the teacher will now present
Lesson problems with solutions. The teacher will then explain step-by-step in
solving complex fractions.
Also, the teacher will demonstrate how to simplify a complex fraction. He
used two methods in the process. Afterwards, the teacher will present more
problems for a better understanding of students.
C. Generalization The teacher will ask the students to define what complex fraction is and
enumerate or cite the steps in solving complex fraction.
D. Application The teacher will give a 10-item problems and the students will answer it in
the board and explain it.
IV. EVALUATION
To assess the learning of the students, the teacher will group them into 4 and
conduct a group quiz bee. They will be given same problems and they are
going to answer it as a group. After which, group leaders will present their
answer in front for scoring.
V. ASSIGNMENT
The teacher will give 5 problems and the students will answer it with a
complete solution, place to be placed on their assignment notebook.
