realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and
contribute to their community.”

person is free from all forms of

psychological, and social well-being.

Events that leave a large impact on a person's personality and


behaviours can affect mental health. These events can take the form of
domestic violence, child abuse or long-term severe stress. If mental
health is disturbed, mental disorders or mental illness arise. Where this
mental disorder can change the way a person handles stress, the way
they relate to other people, the way they make choices and trigger the
desire to hurt themselves.
