ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN


Ultrasound was done on GE P9 LOGIQ using a curvilinear probe with special 2D enhancement features including compound and speckle
reduction imaging (SRI).

Clinical details:- Previous USG suggestive of granulomatous etiology in liver.

Liver is normal in size (span 12.2 cm) and outline with normal echotexture. Focal echogenic lesion of size 1.6 x 0.7 cm seen
in right lobe of liver with posterior acoustic shadowing (calcified). Hepatic veins and portal venous radicals are normal. IHBR
not dilated. Portal vein is normal.

Gall bladder is normally distended with normal wall thickness. No pericholecystic collection or edema is seen. No calculi are
seen. CBD is not dilated.

Pancreas is normal in outline and showing normal echopattern. No evidence of any focal lesion or calcification is seen.
MPD not dilated.

Spleen is normal in size (span 8.9 cm) and shows normal echopattern. No focal lesion is noted.

Both kidneys are normal in size, shape, position and echotexture. The corticomedullary differentiation is maintained
bilaterally. No evidence of any calculus or hydronephrosis is noted on either side.
Right kidney measures 9.6 cm. Left kidney measures 9.5 cm.

No ascites or significant enlarged lymph nodes are seen.

Urinary Bladder is normally distended. Bladder wall thickness is normal. No calculus / lesion is seen.

Uterus is anteverted, normal in size and measures 6.9 x 2.6 cm. Myometrium echoes appear normal in echotexture. The
endometrium is central and measures 4.7 mm in thickness.

Both ovaries are normal in size and echopattern.


Right ovary measures 2.6 x 1.1 cm. Left ovary measures 2.8 x 1.7 cm.

Pouch of Douglas is clear.

IMPRESSION:

USG findings are suggestive of focal calcified hepatic lesion (old healed). No intra-abdominal
lymphadenopathy.

DIGITAL SKIAGRAM CHEST-PA VIEW

Clinical details:- Complaint of backache.

Bilateral lung fields appear normal with no obvious focal pulmonary parenchymal lesion.

Both domes of diaphragm, CP angles and both hila appear normal.

The cardiac shadow appears normal.

The bony cage is unremarkable.

Please correlate clinically.
