Click on 'Applications' in right-hand column on teacher control centre screen.
Click on 'Start Application'. The 'Launch Application' window opens.
In 'Launch Application' window:
Click on 'VACS with inputfile' radio button. Check 'Play Mode'. Click on 'Browse' and double-click on sound file (e.g. enftemple.wav). {If a copy is in the language learning centre resources folder then you need the J: drive, then choose Users, Language Learning Centre and then your Language e.g. French to find a file that is already on the shared area. If it is in your own novell student space it is the g: drive you need} Click OK. The file will be downloaded to each logged on student and the VACS application will start.
Check with students that their volume control is set comfortably.
When you are satisfied all is working properly (by monitoring each student quickly if necessary), right-click on 'New Group 1' and click 'Lock keyboard/mouse'.
If you need to unlock an individual student at any time, right-click on the
individual position and uncheck 'Lock keyboard/mouse'.
