make the scarce resources in the school as opportunity to manage the school fund

economically and wisely? Explain.

Answer:

1. The principle of financial management work as a guideline for managing

financial activities. If I were following the core principles, then I will never

become financially loser. I know that one of the biggest responsibilities is to

oversee the financial management of school. A public school, financial

management includes overseeing the funding for; Employee salaries,

Maintenance of the building and grounds, Student after-school and lunch

programs, field trips, and special events and classroom supplies, including

textbooks and technology. Being a good manager, or overseer, of our

school's finance is not only a major component of my duties as administrator

but also a serious ethical area. As such, I always thinking about what's right

and what's wrong when it comes to funding and tracking of funds and often

consults with others before making a financial decision.

I also understand that the key characteristics of financial management

include organization, oversight, and transparency. Remaining aware of these

features will help me School operate both ethically and legally while remaining

financially solvent. One of the most important things is to keep strong records

or documentation of all our school’s finances. I was set aside one afternoon

each month to go over the school’s financial with secretary to ensure that its

accounts and checkbook are balanced. On the district level, I need to meet

each month with its accountants and the superintendent to discuss what

money is coming into the district and the individual schools and their

corresponding major financial needs. As an administrator, I consider it my

responsibility to be familiar with these laws. That’s why I meet twice a year

with the other principals in our school district and the district lawyer to ensure

that they’re in legal compliance and up to date with any legislative changes.
