TITLE: “I AM MORE THAN MY COLOR”: UNDERSTANDING THE
BEHAVIORAL INTENTIONS OF TEENAGERS IN ACCEPTING ONE’S
SKIN COLOR
Research Objective
This research study aims to identify and understand the effect of behavioral
intentions specifically among teenagers in accepting their own skin color. Also, this
study seeks to assess the effect of teenager’s perspective towards skin color to their
behavioral intentions. Lastly, this research aims to give insights to the future
generations about the effects of colorism on the acceptance of one’s skin color.
