WITH REFLECTIONS
Reflection Question:
2. Were there any questions in the assessment tool where you answered “No” or “Cannot
Be Determined”? What decision will you make on the LR material? Why?
NONE BECAUSE THE MATERIAL IS SUITABLE TO USED BY TEACHERS AND STUDENTS
3. Are there other aspects of the material not covered by the tool but still need to be
assessed? Specify which aspect/s.
THE OTHER ASPECTS OF THE MATERIAL NOT COVERED BY THE TOOL BUT STILL NEED TO BE
ASSESSED IS THE GIVEN EXAMPLE, INFO ANG KEY TO CORRECTION OF EACH MODULE FOR
ASSURANCE
4. How does this exercise help you in picking the right and appropriate LRs for your lesson
and your learners?
USING THIS RAPID ASSESSMENT IS A BIG HELP FOR ME AS A TEACHER TO SELECT THE
APPROPRIATE LR FOR MY STUDENTS.
Reflection Question:
1. Based on the Assessment Tool, how does the materials from a non-Deped Portal
compare with the LR from the DepEd Portal?
THEY ARE NOT MELCS-BASED
2. Based on the Result on the Assessment Tool, what improvement do the materials-
both from DepEd- and Non-DepEd Portal- still need?
BOTH MATERIALS (DEPED AND NON-DEPED), MUST UNDERGO REVISIONS AND DOUBLE
CHECKING OF CONTENT TO MAKE SURE THE RELIABILITY OF THE LEARNING MATERIALS
3. How does this exercise help you in picking the right and appropriate LRS for your
lesson and your learners?
THE SIMULATION OF HOW TO USE THE RAPID ASSESSMENT TOOL FOR LRS HAD GREATLY
HELPED ME CHOOSE THE RIGHT AND APPROPRIATE LEARNING MATERIALS. ITS MY
RESPONSIBILITY AS A TEACHER TO VALIDATE THE LR MATERIAL THAT WILL BE USED IN MY
CLASSES IN GRADE 8.
REFLECTION
“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever
you do, you have to keep moving forward”
-Martin Luther King Jr.
As a teacher, its our responsibility to adapt in changes that this pandemic offered us. We
must have a keen eye to distinguish this adaptability. Changes and challenges are co-related
with this situation. And we must endure and face it.
Whatever it takes, we must move forward. And this continuous adaptability of our
teaching process will gone long be successful. Like an old saying, saan man dudulo yan kundi sa
simbahan.
We should not force ourself to be the best but we must sure that what we teach is right
and valid. Techniques, approaches and process is just secondary. We teacher, as always, is the
best and effective LR Material for the student because whatever we do, it’s the best and
effiecient style of teaching so we must focus on the things we teaches.
