1. Alternance System (Alternancia)
Alternancia is the methodology of teaching
following the alternating cycle of school and
home period which is the means for achieving
the integral formation of the learners. 
2. Integral Formation
Integral formation is the end result of
Alternancia which results in the advancement
of student-learners in terms of
professional/intellectual, human/social, and
moral and spiritual. 
3. Responsible Association
Responsible Association is the organization of
parents and community leaders that
collaborates in pursuit of development
initiatives in the farm schools; this is the means
for achieving the ultimate goal of rural
development. 
4. Rural Community Development
Rural Development is the envisioned outcome
of the farm schools; the proliferation of vibrant
rural communities in economic terms, rich
human resources, and enhanced civic
consciousness of community residents.
