CHALLENGES IN MANAGEMENT OF TIME

ADJUSTING OF ACTUAL TEACHING TIME

T1: Teacher 1 had direct experienced of adjusting the actual teaching time during E-Learning.
According to her, all teachers must modify their teaching time, which has been reduced from
three hours contact time as specified in their syllabus to one and a half hours since it is taxing
on the students' side.

T2: As mentioned by Teacher 2, “My schedule is usually straight three hours. So also
considering the situation of the students I didn’t complete the entire three hours, I only do two
hours.”

SETTING APPROPRIATE DEADLINES

T1: Teacher 1 stated, “I think this is also part of my problem in time management is setting of
deadline for the outputs of our students. So, I have to consider adequate amount of time for the
submissions of their outputs.”

SCHEDULING OF LESSONS

T1: As Teacher 1 said, “It’s a challenge for me specifically if there will be holidays, power
interruptions and then unavailability of internet which suddenly happens. So we will not be able
to meet, to do virtual classroom or virtual teaching in that case.”

STUDENTS TARDINESS

T2: As enunciated by Teacher 2, “The problem is always on the students because sometimes
they cannot enter at the proper time.” He also added, “I am not really strict about students
coming in late because you cannot check attendance and you cannot use attendance in grading
system.”
