CONTRACTOR'S SAFETY AND
ENVIRONMENT RESPONSIBLITIES
Contractor shall, and shall cause each
member of the Contractor Group to,
comply with the following independent
contractor safety and environmental
guidelines in performing services. These
guidelines shall be considered minimum
standards. Contractor shall, and shall
cause each member of the Contractor
Group to, implement additional measures,
as necessary, to assure exemplary
workplace safety and environmental
protection. Contractor’s compliance with
these guidelines in no way reduces or
restricts Contractor’s status as an
independent contractor or Contractor’s
liability and indemnity under this
Agreement.
In all cases the contractor will be
responsible of his group members acts
and impacts on safety, health and
environment, upon the contract signing
which will include the Company polices
for safety, health and environment.
1.00 Responsibility for Compliance
1.01 Contractor shall provide any other
member of the Contractor Group who
performs services for the account or
benefit of Company with a copy of these
guidelines, and any other safety and
environmental rules, policies, procedures

‫إن توافقـ المقاول و موظيفيه و مستخدميه مع‬
‫هذه التعليمات ال ينفى دورـ المقاول وال يعفيه‬
‫من المسئولياتـ و التعويضاتـ كونه شخصية‬
‫و هيئة مستقلة دخلت فى التعاقد بموجب هذا‬

‫فى كل األحوال سيكون المقاول مسئول عن‬
‫تصرفات فريقـ العمل التابع له و التى تؤثر‬
‫ بمجرد توقيعـ‬, ‫على السالمة والصحة و البيئة‬
‫العقد و الذى سوف يشتمل على سياسات‬
‫الشركة فى السالمة و الصحة و البيئة‬
‫ مسئولية التوافق و اإلمتثال‬.1

1.04 Contractor shall be responsible for
establishing corrective actions for the
identified shortage and deficiencies, and
ensure the development and
implementation of these actions .
Contractor shall formally document and
track identified deficiencies to
completion.
1.05 Contractor shall provide to the
Zeitco Representative all inspection
results, corrective actions and the status
of those actions until all corrections are
made.
1.06 Contractor shall provide to their
personnel, all training required by
Regulations and Industry Standards prior
to the employee arriving to Zeitco's
location.
1.07 Contractor shall provide to their
employees an approved orientation prior
to arriving to Zeitco's, location.
1.08 Contractor shall be present and
participate in Zeitco’s Pre-Bid, Pre-Job

1.09 Company shall have the right to
audit members of the Contractor Group to
ensure compliance with Company’s
HS&E guidelines, rules, policies,

2.00 Hazardous Materials

each member of the Contractor Group to,
ensure the safe and environmentally
sound identification, storage,
transportation, security and handling of

2.02 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
maintain a copy and train on material
safety data sheets ("MSDS") for all
chemicals and other hazardous materials
used in performance of Services and use
such chemicals or hazardous materials
consistent with the specifications and
other information in such MSDS.
3.00 Fire Prevention and Protection
3.01 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
take all reasonable precautions to prevent
fires.
3.02 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
dispose of paper, rags, trash, and other
combustible materials only in safe
containers per the assigned color of
garbage collection codes .
3.03 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
transport and store flammable liquids
including, without limitation, gasoline,
kerosene and fuel oil in industry-
approved metal containers designed
specifically for handling such liquids.
3.04 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
not alter or tamper with fire protection

‫يلتزم المقاول و كل عضو فى مجموعة‬3,02
‫العمل التابعة له بالتخلص من الورق والخرقـ‬
‫والنفايات والموادـ األخرى القابلة لالشتعال فقط‬
‫ وذلك وفقا لنظام‬, ‫فى الحاويات اآلمنةالمعدة‬
‫االلوان المخصص لتلك الحاويات‬
‫ يلتزم المقاول و كل عضو فى‬3,03
‫مجموعة العمل التابعة له سينقلوا ويخزنوا‬
‫السوائل بما فيها القابلة لإلشتعال و بدون تحديد‬
‫وعلى سبيل المثال (جازولين و كيروسين‬
‫وزيت الوقود ) فى حاويات معدنية معتمدة‬
‫من قبل الصناعة مصممة خصيصاـ لتداول مثل‬
. ‫هذه السوائل‬
‫يلتزم المقاول و كل عضو فى مجموعة‬3,04
‫العمل التابعة له بأال يبدلوا أو يعبثوا بمعدات‬
equipment or render unusable or
inaccessible such equipment.
3.05 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
not open or close hydrants or main water
valves without first obtaining written
consent of Company, except in case of
emergency.
3.06 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
use for cleaning purposes, only cleaning
solvents that have a high flash point
(above 140 F, or 60 C) and are non-toxic
for quantities stored on site over one
gallon.
3.07 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
be responsible for the safety and fire
protection training of their employees.
3.08 In case of fire, Contractor shall,
and shall cause each member of the
Contractor Group to, immediately take all
reasonable and practical measures to
protect the safety of all personnel and to
extinguish the fire. Contractor shall, and
shall cause each member of the
Contractor Group to, notify the Company
of the fire as soon as possible.
3.09 In case of fire, Contractor shall,
and shall cause each member of the
Contractor Group to, shut down all
equipment and remove it from the fire
location if feasible and clear all access
routes.

‫ فى حال نشوب حريق يلتزم المقاول و‬3,08
‫كل عضو فى مجموعة العمل التابعة له فى‬
‫الحال بإتخاذ كل اإلجراءاتالمناسبة والعملية‬
‫بحماية سالمة و أمن كل الموظفين والعمل‬
‫المقاول وموظفيه ومن‬. ‫إلخماد الحريق‬
‫يستخدمهمـ سيبلغواـ الشركة عن الحريق فى‬
. ‫أقرب وقت ممكن‬
‫ سيغلق المقاول‬, ‫ فى حالة الحريق‬3,09
‫وموظفيه ومن يستخدمهمـ جميع المعدات وتنقل‬
‫بعيدا عن موقع الحريق ويؤمن جميع طرق‬
.‫وصول معدات مكافحة الحريق‬
4.00 Personal Protective Equipment
4.01 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,

5.00 Housekeeping
5.01 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
maintain good housekeeping at all times
and shall keep all working areas clean
and free of obstructions.
5.02 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
keep access to emergency exits clear at
all times.
5.03 Company shall review any
final/completed Service to determine that
hazards related to site where such Service
was performed have been removed in

.‫الطوارىء نظيفة و خالية فى جميع األوقات‬
\ ‫ ستراجع الشركة اى خدمة مكتملة‬5,03
‫نهائية لتحديد إذا ما كانت األخطار المتعلقة‬

06.00 Incident Reporting
6.01 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
immediately report all incidents
including, without limitation, fatalities, ‫مجموعة العمل التابعة له بإبالغ الشركة فى‬
injuries, fires, spills, motor vehicle

accidents, and damage to Company
Property to Company and, where required
by Law to the Public Authority.

in writing within 24 hours.
6.02 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
conduct a root cause analysis of all
incidents and provide written
documentation of such within 24 hours to
the Company unless otherwise agreed
upon and maintain all incident
information pursuant to Company
procedures and as required by Law.
6.03 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,
promptly send to the Company copies of
all governmental safety, health, or
environmental citations issued against
such Person.
6.04 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor group to,
report monthly safety statistical
summaries, while on Company’s

ً ‫سوف يؤكد المقاول مثل هذه التقارير كتابتا‬

‫ يلتزم المقاول ويلزم كل عضو فى‬6,02
‫مجموعة العمل التابعة له بالقيام بتحليل‬
‫األسباب الجذرية التى أدت للحادث وتقديم‬
24 ‫الوثائق المكتوبة لهذه الحوادث خالل‬
‫ساعة إلى الشركة مالم يكن متفق على غير‬
‫ذلك مع اإلحتفاظ بكل المعلومات المتعلقة‬
‫بالحادث و المطابقة لإجراءات الشركة وكما‬
.‫هو مطلوب بالقانون‬
‫يلتزم المقاول و كل عضو فى مجموعة‬6,03
‫العمل التابعة له بالمسارعة بإرسال نسخ من‬
‫المحاضر الحكومية المتعلقة بالصحة و‬
‫السالمة و البيئة تم إصدارها من قبل‬
‫السلطات تجاه شخص من أفراد مجموعة عمل‬
. ‫المقاول‬
‫يلتزم المقاول و كل عضو فى مجموعة‬6,04
‫العمل التابعة لهبتقدم تقرير شهرى لملخصات‬

7.00 Environmental Protection
7.01 Contractor shall, and shall cause
each member of the Contractor Group to,

7.05 Contractor shall, and shall cause

disturbing, or capturing native birds, fish

8.00 Illegal and Controlled

Substances
8.01 Contractor acknowledges that the
use, possession, distribution, or sale of
illegal drugs and controlled substances
including, without limitation, alcohol,
firearms and explosives in and around
Company Property is absolutely
prohibited.

8.02 Company specifically reserves the
right to carry out reasonable searches of
individuals, their person, effects and
vehicles when entering on, or leaving,

acknowledges that the refusal to submit ‫القيام بأعمال تفتيش ( إستقصاء ) فيما يتعلق‬

random drug testing of Contractor

9.00 Termination and Warnings
9.01 Company shall have the right, in
its sole discretion, to terminate the
Service provided by any member of the
Contractor Group at any time if the such

Company shall require evidence of

9.03 In the event Contractor is found to
be otherwise in violation or breach of any
of the safety and environmental
guidelines set forth herein, Contractor

shall formally respond to Company ‫بطريقة أو بأخرى السالمة والتعليمات البيئية‬

9.04 In the event Contractor fails to

Company shall have the right to
immediately terminate its Agreement

9.05 "In the event that a
CONTRACTOR’S employee violates the
COMPANY’S safety rules and
regulations, then a written warning shall
be issued to the employee, with a copy to ‫ فى حال ما إذا أنتهك مستخدمـ أو‬9,05
the COMPANY. If a second violation ‫موظف لدى المقاول لوائح وتعليماتـ السالمة‬
occurs by the same employee, then the
CONTRACTOR’S employee will be
permanently removed from the job site."
9.06 The contract shall be terminated if
the contractor fails, at any time, to report,
intentionally or unintentionally any LTI
he or his subcontractors may be involved
in while fulfilling his contractual
obligation towards the company.
10.00 Contractor’s Personnel
10.01Contractor represents and warrants
and shall ensure that Contractor’s
Personnel are and shall at all times be
qualified, adequate and competent to
properly perform the services
contemplated under this Contract.
Company shall have the right to select
Contractor’s Personnel based on their
experience and competency. Contractor
shall not reassign its employees without
written consent of Company. Contractor
shall replace such person with a person
who should be approved by the
Company.
11.00 Inspection of Contractor’s
Equipment
11.01 As a condition of the Company’s
acceptance of Contractor’s Equipment,
Company shall have the right to have its
representatives or an independent third

‫أحد موظيفيه متورطاـ ً أو متسببا ً فىالحادث‬
‫أثناء قيامه بالوفاءـ بإلتزامات التعاقدـ مع‬

‫ممثليها أو تعين طرف ثالث مستقل للقيام‬

Contractor shall ensure that adequate ‫يضمن المقاول توافرعدد كاف من موظفيه‬

12.00 Continuing Inspection

12.01 Company shall have the
continuing right to inspect and request
that Contractor repair or replace any of
Contractor’s equipment which prevents
or hinders proper performance of the
services, renders performance of the
operation unsafe or is otherwise not in
compliance with this Contract. Under
any of such cases, Contractor shall, at its
expense, promptly repair or replace the
rejected item, as applicable.

13.00 Safety/Health/Environment
Policy and Programs
13.01 Contractor shall place the highest
priority on safety, health and the
environment while performing work for
Company. Contractor shall take all ‫برامج وسياسات السالمة والصحة‬13,00
measures reasonably necessary or proper ‫والبيئة‬

to provide and maintain a safe working

14.00 Unsatisfactory Performance
