The rights of youth to education can still be fulfilled even if schools are closed
due to the pandemic but despite the overwhelming consequences of this global crisis
has also been an extraordinary time for learning. NISSAI teachers and
administrators learned how to become adaptable and resilient to make the
educational system effective.

For the School Year 2021-2022, the total number of enrollment is 352. The
table below shows the breakdown of the enrolment.

A teacher’s most important responsibility is to make meaningful and related


educational experiences amidst the pandemic. Teachers provide the students
modules that are based on the most essential learning competencies and are
anchored in the institutional objectives of the school.

Every end of the quarter, examinations were administered to assess the
learners’ progress and to identify what competencies were not met. After the
examinations were checked, item analysis was conducted and from the results,
intervention plans were made and administered.

Parents are a crucial link between the students and school. The importance of
a healthy and strong relationship between parents and teachers improves students’s
academic achievement, work habits, social skills and emotional well-being.

The school conduct PTA Meeting every end of quarter and if needed to inform
the parents about the progress of their children and to ask for their support on the
programs and projects of the school. The set of GPTA Officers who were elected
last school year 2020-2021 were retained. They were closely involved in most of the
academic activities of the school. The General Parent – Teachers Association
Officers are as follows:

The Supreme Student Government aims to lay the groundwork for unity and
cooperation among students by providing them a venue where they can improve
their leadership abilities. It also seeks to train students to become better members of
the society with the ideals and principles of participative democracy.

NISSAI conducted Class Officers’ Congress last September 8, 2021 via
Google Meet. This Congress aims to promote and practice flexible leadership in
times of pandemic. The SSG officers for S.Y. 2021-2022 was elected last
September 15, 2021. SSG Election was automated which was organized and
implemented by the school ICT Coordinator. The new elected SSG officers are:

Extracurricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned,


offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and
are thus considered part of a well-rounded education .

The first activity in which the students showcased their skills in


Communication and Technology is the Virtual Teachers’ Day Celebration held last
October 5, 2021. It was planned and organized by SSG Officers with the guidance
and supervision of the SSG Adviser Mr. Jerry R. Pobre Jr. Teachers efforts and
sacrifices were recognized during the virtual program.

The second extracurricular activity of the school is the United Nations Week
Celebration on October 25-29, 2021 with the theme “UN 2021: One Nation, One
Goal, One Commitment Towards a Path to Recovery.” The contested activities were
Search for Mr. and Ms. United Nations, Virtual United Nations Quiz Bowl
Competition, Sine-Silip sa Kultura ng mga Iba’t-ibang Bansa and Interpretative
Dance. These contested activities were participated by students from different grade
levels. The advisers gave their moral support and assistance to the participants. The
culminating activity was held last October 29, 2021 via google meet. These are the
following students/group of students who were adjudged as winners of the contested

To carry out the School’s institutional goals and to provide meaningful and
suitable learning experiences to the students, a Webinar on Mental Health
Awareness was conducted on October 29, 2021 via google meet right after the
Culminating Activity of UN Week Celebration. The objectives of this webinar was to
raise awareness of mental health issues, to mobilize efforts to all stakeholders and to
provide opportunities for all students to pause, breathe, and reflect about the
whereabouts and further what needs to be done to realize mental health care.

Christmas Season was celebrated from December 13 to 16, 2021 with the
theme “Ikaw and Star ng Pasko” which featured the contested activities which are
Parol Making, Miniature Belen Making and School ID. These contested activities
challenged the creativity and teamwork of students. The winners for the contested

Every year, schools celebrate their respective foundation days to


commemorate the day when the school was founded or established. It is significant
not only because of the number of years it has served the community where a school
belongs to but It is an opportunity especially for older and graduating students to

determine what kind of legacy they can leave behind to the school that have
supported them through the years and to the student body that will be left behind.
Therefore NISSAI celebrated its Founding Anniversary on March 11 to 17,
2022. It was a weeklong celebration in which Nissaieńos Festival of Talents were
showcased. The theme of the celebration was “Taking the Lead at 71: Celebrating
and Sustaining the Gains of Education in the New Normal.”

Campus Journalism gives students the opportunity to hone and practice their


journalistic skills, and be the voice of change by getting readers to think about

pressing issues that they probably wouldn’t have read anywhere else. Therefore,
NISSAI provides the student journalists to expand their horizons amidst the
pandemic by encouraging them to join the Division Journalympics 2022.

Contests. Kyle Joshua Ricardo, Grade 10 student, was registered in the


Sports Writing – English Category and Jan Michaella Clememte, a Grade 8 student,
was also registered in Editorial Writing – English Category. Kyle Joshua Ricardo was
adjudged as Second Place in Sports Writing – English Category. He will pursue for
the Regional Journalympics 2022.

School Year 2021-2022 has been difficult for both the teachers and students
but the challenges did not hinder the school to realize its institutional objectives. It
became more resilient and it has evolved into better.

Student support and services contribute to the quality of students’ learning


experience and their academic success. The role of the NISSAI is to prepare the
students for active participation in the society by redesigning their learning
experiences and by giving them the opportunity to develop their skills.
