FINANCY MANAGEREAL SWEETS

Financy Managereal Sweets is the first treats and student-friendly

shop located in small town of Guihing, Hagonoy Davao del Sur, owned by

several owners namely Karyl Gramor, Cutielyn Borembao, Rona Gel

Manapat, Ruby Anne Belmoro, Jebie Divebar, Allan Bandoquillo, Carol

Clyde Reponte, Jhonrey Cabigas and Divine Grace Tolentino whom equally

run the business. This business was the product of their observations from

small businesses in their town, by virtue of this observation they come up

with a plan to put something that is known by people yet will bring new

vision in their systems. Financy delivered pasalubong vibes of home-made

products made from modified Filipino treats, they aim to serve pastries in

the town unique than the regular sweets that was already existed. Financy’s

unique ability are; they serve products for all ages either for kids, teenager

and elders they have also space for studies, the nature of the store does not

leave Filipino culture they provide service like home also they are open 24/7

in favor for customers and the owners inside the business is driven by

informal group as well. In addition, the business was created because the

team thought to put easy access for treats and study place as the location

was prone of balikbayans and students. The first ever product they made is

the YEMA-NEY. Yema filling inspired in tart style can be bought in just

₱10.00 each and ₱90.OO per box.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

YEMA-NEY of Financy Managereal sweets is a creamy condensed milk

custard filling in a munchkin with ube or chocolate flavours inside that

gotten from traditional Filipino sweets Yema. The brains of the plan had

decided to make Yema filling instead of a candy, also suggested to inspire

the style also from Filipino treat tart. Tart was like a pie style which have

baked dough and fillings on, the team collided the two ideas into one, the

twist is that instead of baked dough they made it a munchkin dough.

Another twist added is they also put some additive flavours inside

the product it is either chocolate or Ube Halaya just to add more fun in the

tongue the price also is not that expensive and do not create hole in

consumer’s pocket it is only ₱10.00 each and ₱90.00 per box, the shelf life of

YEMA-NEY is 3 days, YEMA-NEY can be either be chilled or room

temperature. And look at the package it is simple built transparent so

consumers can easily see what is inside.

Marketing Strategy

Marketing of Financy's products will begin in local place around

Barangay Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao Del Sur. As they are going to market a

food product, local marketing will be effective foremost strategy it starts in

opening the store downtown and posting posters, using the persuading

skills of the team and offering discounts for first customers. In order to meet

their goal, they performs delivery service, promos for large orders, offers

catering services, online promotions across different social media platforms

(i.e. Facebook and twitter). For instance, they planned when the business

expand they will engage advertisement to radio outlets and selling in malls

and transportation terminals.

7’Ps of Marketing

Product

Financy Yema-nagereal produce an innovative product inspired from

Filipinos pie style called YEMA-NEY which is made up of dough munchkin

and Yema filling with chocolate and Ube Halaya as additive flavors. The

munchkin dough was made of ace biscuit and condense milk, the biscuits

was crushed thoroughly using manual crushing and mix with condensed

milk and manually molded t into different shapes. For the Yema filling it is a

mixture of egg yolk, condensed milk, bit of salt and sugar. Boiled in medium

heat stirred constantly and then added cut in portion unsweetened butter

constantly stirred until it gets into filling. Afterwards put the additive flavors

in each munchkin one for chocolate and one for Ube halaya and then put

the Yema filling and chilled for 2 hours. YEMA-NEY was offered by set and

also one by one; six pieces each package contains different shapes in a box.

YEMA-NEY does not needed a long period of time process and had only to be

chilled or room temperature than baked.

Price

The pricing of YEMA-NEY product was based on the ingredients it was

made from. Its munchkin dough cost ₱288.00, ₱208.00 for the biscuit and

₱72.00 for the 2 pieces canned condensed milk. The additive flavor

cost ₱140.00; ₱92.00 for ube halaya, ₱48.00 for chocolate, and for the Yema

filling ₱108.00 for condensed milk, ₱40.00 for eggs, and 5 pesos for sugar

total of

₱153.00. The team aims to make 60 pieces and sell it to ₱10.00 each

and ₱90.00 per box consist of 6 pieces. The price for box was got from the

cost of ingredients and the packaging for package it cost ₱95.00, ₱63.00 for

plastic food box and ₱9.00 for cupcake cups and 25 for paper towel. The

team expect to sell 5 boxes that will equal to ₱450 profit, and 30 pieces

equal to ₱300.00 profit compared to ₱676.00 expenses by that we could earn

₱750.00 profit and will have ₱74.00 pesos revenue.

Place

Financy's products and store can be found in Barangay of Guihing as

where their main store was based, also it might be found malls,

transportation terminals (bus terminals or near airports). for online
