LESSON 2-3: Regionalism and ASEAN

To help students appreciate regionalization you may assign them to ASEAN


Meeting using the guidelines set by the ASEAN Foundation Model ASEAN Meeting
(AFMAM). The Model ASEAN Meeting is a simulation of ASEAN meetings and
mechanisms to raise awareness of ASEAN’s roles and functions. This activity can
serve to communicate ASEAN and its affairs to our students who have an interest in
ASEAN, international relations, and diplomacy, and serves as a fun and educational
way of promoting interest in ASEAN affairs to a younger generation.

Steps:

1. Discuss the ASEAN and Its Structure

LESSON 1: Global Media Cultures

Application

1. Direction: Using your student’s Facebook account as their social media, they may
choose 1 activity from the following:

1. write what’s on your mind below and post on your wall about how the global
media affect us Filipinos;
