I. Rationale
Delivery Education in the country greatly changed because of the Corona

Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic. All schools were closed to protect the
health of learners and teachers. However, to provide a quality education to our
Filipino learners, Department of Education implemented the Basic Education-
Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP). It is the department’s major response and
commitment in protecting the health and safety and well-being of learners,
teachers and personnel.
Duquit Elementary School is committed to ensure safe educational continuity
amidst the challenges of COVID-19. The health and safety of our learners and
teaching and non-teaching personnel are of utmost importance and must be
protected at all times. Hence, Project SAFE is initiated to deliver quality education
and protecting the health of learners, parents and personnel.
II. Project Description:
Objectives:
The objective of the project is to manage a learner friendly, inclusive and
healthy learning environment
III. Target Beneficiaries

Learners, teachers, and non-teaching personnel, are the main beneficiaries of
the Project SAFE.

Proposed Activities
Pre-Implementation
- Conduct meeting with the DRRM coordinator, Health leader
- Craft the project proposal, school contingency plan and action plan
Proper -Implementation
- Conduct of regular sanitation and disinfection of school vicinity and classrooms
- Document the activity
- Monitor the conduct of disinfection
Post-Implementation
- Submit the activity completion report

Program Objective:  To manage a learner friendly, inclusive and healthy
learning environment
Executive Summary: Proper cleaning and sanitizing are essential to keep away
from any harmful infection and diseases. Maintaining of wash
area clean and religious sanitation practices keep school
environment free from any illnesses.

Key Result: Maintaining hand-washing facility clean and functional to
provide the learners and other school personnel to continue
the regular personal hygiene practices to protect them from
covid-19 and other illnesses brought about by germs and
