Activity : Watcher’s Class

Topic : Common Child behavior in preschool year: lying
Activity Description: One of the common behaviors during preschool year is lying. Lying is part of development, and
it often starts around three years of age. It’s usually better to teach young children the value of
honesty and telling the truth than to punish them for small lies.
Target Clientele: N-22, group 2 and mothers
Date : September 21, 2021
Venue : Google Meet
Time Frame : 8:00 am – 8:15 am
General Objectives: Within 15 mins. of watcher’s class the target clientele will be able to:

1. Obtain additional information related to the common behavior of a child in a preschool year such lying, Habits,
and anxiety;
2. Recognize the common cause behind the lying behavior of a child in a preschool year;
3. Develop active listening through raising question and concerns during the open forum of the watcher’s class;
4. Apply what they learn during watchers’ class by teaching their children to be honest and to tell the truth; and
5. Actively participate all throughout the course of the discussion politely by behaving appropriately.
