Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Read a linear text and answer at least 3 T/F questions correctly.

Teaching aids : vocabulary flash cards
Activities : 1. Students look at a picture stimulus (house) and response to it.
2. Students read the text individually first then read aloud in 2 respective groups.
3. Students have class conversation about the text and answer questions posed (Pair work)
4. Students choose a title for the text (Txt B Pg.4) and justify (HOTS).

2. Pupils share ideas with teacher how to guess the meanings of the words.
3. Pupils practice with peers and having discussion with them.
4. Pupils refer to dictionary after their guessing.
5. Pupils share on how to get the correct meanings of the words with friends.

Activities : 1. Students look at the story cover and guess what the story is about.
2. Pupils are pre-taught some vocabulary in the story.
3. Pupils read the story in the chain reading mode.
4. Pupils work in groups and give the ending and describe their feeling towards the story. .
