My name is Mickeala Boyd, and I am writing to be considered as teaching candidate in your

district. I am a graduate student at Dakota State University, majored in Elementary and Special
Education. I also have a technology minor, reading minor, and am looking into getting my
volleyball coaching endorsement. I am looking forward to this teaching opportunity.

I feel my skills, teaching philosophy, and experience have prepared me to be an excellent

teacher for your district. I excel in elementary and special education content knowledge as well
as teaching approaches. My strengths are organization, perseverance, and enthusiasm in the
educational growth of students. My coursework at Dakota State University has prepared me to
promote students with a positive view on learning and a foundational understanding of
elementary school course standards. My experiences have been equipping me with technology
tools and helpful programs for learning. I would also be interested in helping support students
in every aspect and creating teacher bonds in you district.
