4.1 Introductory Activity No. 1
Activity (_5_ minutes). The teacher will show some pictures and let the students identify the pictures presented.
4.2 Activity/Strategy DEMONSTRATION: the students will also follow and perform the basic dance steps in folkdance.
(10 minutes).

4.3 Analysis (5 minutes). Activity No. 2


The teacher will ask the students the following questions:
a. Why is it important to learn the basic steps in folkdance?
b. Why is it important to know folkdance?

4.4 Abstraction (10 minutes). Activity No. 3 “Name the Mnemonic”


Using the Mnemonic below. Describe the importance of folkdance and its basic steps base from what
you have learned.
4.5 Application (minutes). Activity No. 4 “Isayaw mo Ako”

Instructions: A. Find a partner (anyone in your household) and execute the different dance steps performed.

B. Let your partner check if you have performed the step pattern correctly by looking at the module. C. While
performing, take note of the level of difficulty of each dance step.

C. Put a (√) mark on the column accomplished if you have correctly performed the step pattern. Write your
remarks on the column provided if you have the difficulty in performing the step pattern and submit it to your
MAPEH Teacher for assistance.
