PRACTICAL RESEARCH 2

1. Research Topic

Stress Management of grade 11 and 12 students of Senior High School in

Talomo National High School.

2. Purpose for choosing the topic

The purpose of this study is to investigate the stress levels of senior high school

students throughout the academic year and other causes of it. During the initial

interview of the research topic presentation by the researcher, some of the

students agreed that they were stressed when the subject teacher asked. As a

student who is dealing with stress, I am interested in how other students deal

with and manage their stress.

3. Research questions

The goal of this study is to investigate and assess the stress management of the

senior high school students at Talomo National High School. Specifically, the

study will seek to answer the following:

a. How often do the students feel stressed in academic workloads?

b. In what way do students handle their stress due to academics?

c. Are there any suggestions that will help them manage their stress aside from

those they mentioned?

4. Target Population/Sample

The target population of the study is the students of senior high school, grades

11 and 12. There will be 60 students who will serve as the respondents, 30

students per level, consisting of 15 females and 15 males.

5. Research Locale/Area

The study will be conducted at Talomo National High School, which is located in

Talomo Proper, Davao City. This location is the most convenient place to

conduct the study and to gather information and data from the students that are

studying there to accomplish the process.
