GROUP PRESENTATION:

Role-Play

(Contribute 20% for the continuous assessment)

Instructions:
1. Students are required to perform a role play session (definition of role play: act out or perform the
part of a person or character)
2. Choose one position from any industry or organization (private/ government/ local or
international)
3. Choose a specific role for each team members (interviewer, interviewee, recruiters etc.)
4. Conduct a role play session that demonstrate recruitment types and interview process for
selecting new employees.
5. During the role play, student should demonstrate a pre, during and post interview process
6. For conclusion, student should explain: (CLO4, CLO5)
a. why the application of recruitment types is differed according to staff
categories.
b. the strengths and weakness of the chosen selection methods

General guidelines for role-play


1. You are free to bring into play your own creativity
2. Students will conduct 20 minutes role-play of the project followed by a 10 minutes question and
answer session.
3. Students are allowed to use any methods of interactive presentation such as Movie Maker, etc. to
support the role pay session
4. Marks will be given based on the following criteria: (refer to evaluation form)
5. Students are required to provide a presentation material (hard copy slides) for lecturer during
presentation day.
6. Live Role play session will be held on WEEK 5 (9.00 a.m – 1.00 p.m)
7. Students are required to use cover page template provided
