Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of Post-doctoral Associate

I have obtained PhD in Commerce (Finance) from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan
Pakistan. Currently I am serving as lecturer Accounting and Finance in Air University
Islamabad Multan Campus, Multan, Pakistan. Over the years I have been teaching Financial
Accounting, Introduction to Business Finance, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, and
Financial Reporting at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

During lectureship at Central Degree College Multan Pakistan, I gained extensive teaching
experience that include taking classes, conducting seminars, preparing, and updating lecture
material, preparing and evaluating coursework, preparing and evaluating exams. I appreciate
that students come from different backgrounds and have different approaches to learning as
an important part of my teaching. I have a strong belief system about nurturing students
through care, motivation, trust, encouragement, and support. I always try to integrate the most
recent developments in research into the subject areas of my teaching. In Pakistan, being a
lecturer, program coordinator and member of various committees (including curriculum
review committee), I am continuously involved in curriculum development, administrative
and community work. I am highly committed to continuous professional development and
participate in various professional development activities.

I have recently completed my Ph.D. in Commerce (Finance) and published one paper Scopus
index, HJRS (X) category from my Ph.D. dissertation. I have also published two more papers
HJRS (Y) category. I have participated in many trainings to get practical exposure relevant to
new developments in teaching and research for my career development. I have supervised 07
M. Phil/MS scholars in Air University Islamabad Multan Campus, Pakistan. Besides, I am
keen to engage into interdisciplinary projects and working with others.

I am tech-savvy and love to use technology in teaching and research. I am involved in online
teaching even before covid-19. I am well-versed with the use of Zoom and Google classroom
for online teaching. I am confident that my qualifications, prior teaching experience and
research profile enable me to contribute to teaching, research, and extra-curricular
departmental activities at the Department of Business Administration Air University Multan
Campus, Pakistan. I have attached my CV, teaching, and research statements.
