Chapter II

This chapter discussed about methodology used. The Research Method, Research Locale,
Research Subjects, Research Instrument,Data Gathering Procedure and Data Processing were
found here.

Research Methodology

The researchers of this study use the survey questionaire to gather the data needed in this
study.

Research Locale

This study will be conducted in Saint Francis College-Guihulngan among the selected Junior
High School students who were currently enrolled in Academic Year 2021-2022.

A map indicating the location of the school in Bateria, Guihulngan City Negros Oriental is
presented
Research Subjects

The respondents in this study were among the selected Junior High School student in G10 year
level of GNHS- Poblacion in this Academic Year 2021-2022. Fifty (50) students were randomly
selected to be the respondents in the said research study. The respondents were determined as
shown below.

The table above shows the respondents, that there were selected 50 students from G10 year
level, and 18 (36%) of them were female and 32 (64%) were male of the respondents.

Research Instrument

The instrument being used in gathering the data of this study is the questionaire to be
answered by the selected G10 students in GNHS- Poblacion,Guihulngan City.

Data Gathering Procedure

Before the questionnaire were distributed to the following respondents, it's details and also the
contents of the said questionnaire was undergone a series of checking and correcting through
the suggestions of the researcher's instructor. After the research Instrument was corrected, the
researchers send a letter to the school principal, for the approval of the said respondents in
school. After it was already approved, the researchers personally give the survey questionnaire
to the respondents during the face to face classes in school. And the collected data were
statistically treated, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted.
Data Processing

To determine the demographic profile of the respondents, the simple percentage used:

P= f/N x 100

Where:

P= Percentage

f = number of student responses

N= total number of respondents
