The pie charts reveal the way that people travel to work and go home in
a European city in 1959 and 2009.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that both average distance and time spent
increased dramatically in five decades shown. Furthermore, the
percentage of European people who went to work on foot decreased
significantly, while car users rose.
According to the pie charts, the average travel distance surged over
fivefold from 3.5 kilometers to 19 kilometers in the 50-year period, and
the time also increased by 25 minutes to 42 minutes in 2009. Moreover,
the number of people walked to their offices dropped intensely from
over a half in 1959 to only a quarter in 2009, while a 25% increase was
seen in the use of car in 2009.
A good piece of work with very few errors. Keep up the good work !
