1. State electricity- the build up of electric charge on an object
2. Electricity current- the flow of electric charge along a path
3. Circuit- a path along which electric charges can flow
4. Series circuit- an electric circuit in which the electrical charges have only
one path to follow
5. Parallel circuit- an electric circuit that has more than one path for the
electric charges to follow
6. Electric motor- a device that changes electrical energy into mechanical
energy
7. Magnet- an object that attracts iron and a few other but not all metals
8. Electromagnet- a temporary magnet caused by an electric current
9. Generator- a device that makes an electric current by converting
mechanical energy to electrical energy
