Problem Statement: In Physics lesson, Jamuna learnt that a wave is a transfer of energy. While playing with a
laser one night, she noticed that the light was a bit dimmer when she bounced it off her neighbor’s windows.
Her teacher told her that when reflection occurs, the energy of the wave is reflected too, so why does her laser
light look dimmer when she bounces off something. Plan and design and experiment to help Jamuna.

Method:

Expected Results: It is expected that the direction in which the light is point, will make the light reflect and
become dimmer.
Treatment of Results: It can be interrupted that the light becomes dimmer because the light will be invisible in
mirror. If no light at all is absorbed from a light box, it will be reflected away when it hits the surface of the
material.
