Interviewer; When did you discover that you are a member of LGB comm.?
Respondent 1; ‘’2 years ago? nung una ako nag kagusto sa babae, hahaha eh siyempre in
denial ka parin naman talaga nun’’

Interviewer; So next, What was your family's reaction?

Respondent 1; ‘’tinawanan nila ako ehahaha kaseee anong tawag dito,’’hala bat ganyan ka?’’
sabi nila sakin, perooo eventually natanggap naman nila na ganito nga ako at sabi nga nila atlis
di daw ako mabubuntis sabi ni papa ko’’
‘’yun ang take nila don pero ok na rin yun atlis tanggap ako ng pamilya ko’’

Interviewer; oh, so third question is: What was the impact of the reaction of the family
knowing that you are a member of the LGB comm?
Respondent 1; ‘’anooo, namotivate ako maging bading lalo ehahahaha hindi kasi honestly
speaking, since nga hindi nila ako tinakwil, hindi sila nagalit sakin at natuwa pa sila sa fact naaa
hindi ako mabubuntis diba? so parang na embrace ko na lang yung sarili ko, parang ganun,
parang instead na itago ko siya lalo pa ako naging musc tas lalo ako nag kagusto sa babae
parang ganon’’

Interviewer; Sarap sa feeling noh?

Respondent 1; ‘’eha sobra’’

Interviewer; ah next , what is your overall experience with your family as a member of lgbt
community in terms of good experiences and not so good experiences?
Respondent 1; ‘’ano hmmmmm, hindi naman ako yung ididisplay na ay hala bading ako, hala
may girlfriend ako pero syempre sattle lang siya, alam kong tanggap ako pero hindi siya ganun
kaaa kalat or sa buong pamilya, hindi siya yung sinii pinagsisigawan ko talaga’’

Respondent 1; oo yes, lowkey lowkey lang
