To whom it may concern,

I am writing to recommend Griffin Holcomb. He attended Flowery Branch High School with me
for four years as one of my peers and closest friends. Next year, we will attend the Georgia
Institute of Technology together.

As his peer, Griffin was always inspirational and pushed me to be better. During his time as my
friend, he pushed me to become a Governor’s Honors Program alumni and Georgia Tech student.

Griffin is one of the best friends I have had and I hope to know him for the remainder of my life.

I feel that Griffin is a wonderful student because he always strives to be better. When we started
a project last year to continue STEAM Club, a club created for middle schoolers to come learn
about our high school’s program of choice, Griffin went above and beyond and this year took
over STEAM Club as his own club and has worked to continue it after he graduates. Griffin
always does more than he is asked and works to also push those around him.
