PROJECT PROPOSAL
Tittle: Disaster Preparedness Response
Scope: Guingona Residence
Venue: Guingona, Matiao, Mati City
Date : May 2023/ 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

GOAL:
Governments, organizations, communities, and individuals can better
respond to and deal with the immediate aftermath of a disaster, whether
it is caused by natural disasters or human-induced ones, by taking a
number of proactive steps. Reducing the loss of life and livelihood is the
goal.

Simple actions like preparing for search and rescue missions, establishing
early warning systems, creating contingency plans, or stockpiling supplies
and equipment can have a big impact.

RATIONALE:
Children are the most vulnerable person during catastrophe. Nowadays, the effect of disaster
in Guingona bring children to danger. Disaster deprived children of their right to continous
quality basic education and on how to prepare in a disaster and response. They should know
what to do before, during and after disaster.
Preparedness is a base on sound analysis of disaster risk and linkages with early warning
systems includes contingency planning stockpiling of equipment and supplies and field
excercise.

OBJECTIVES:
To improve their level of understanding on the hazard and potential risk
within the community
To increase every Family member's awareness on the hazard and possible
risk inside their community.
To engage people in real-life situation in safety and preparedness activity.
DISCRIPTION ACTIVITY
The school will conduct a Seminar on Guingona member's Awareness on Disaster
Preparedness Response. This will be attended by all students and teachers of NSTP.
Community stakeholders will also be invited in this activity to raise their awareness.
Training will be conducted qt Guingona, Matiao, Mati City.
Purchase of materials or kit that they could use during emergencies
Will also be done.

After the completion of project, the following outcome will be achieved :

It will ensure good exercise, health and have a healthy body.
B.
Activity will achieve ideas, Comprehensive, Ability, Connfidence. Good health
and preparedness.
C.
People will have knowledge about disaster preparedness and response in order
to participate in every activity and gain it maximum performances especially the
childrens.
