CHTM, COED tops Mr. and Ms.

Palaro

College of Hospitality and Tourism Management and College of Education reigned supreme as
they were recognized as Mr. and Ms. Palarong Wesleyan 2023 during the Opening Program at
University Gymnasium, March 21. Both colleges showed exemplary behavior and strong
leadership qualities throughout the Palarong Wesleyan 2023 activities. They were able to lead by
example, inspiring and motivating their peers, and setting an example for the rest of the
university.

This pageant was judged based on the beauty of the face, poise and bearing, and body figure and
stage projection of the candidates. Their exceptional leadership qualities created a path for others
to follow, and their grace and presence made them stand out in the pageant.

"As a Ginoong Palaro, I'm so overwhelmed and [I] enjoyed din. Masaya ako dahil lahat ng
pamilya ng CHTM, sumusuporta," expressed Deorrel Chris Baylon Ramos, Mr. CHTM upon
winning Mr. Palarong Wesleyan 2023.

Mr. CHTM also won Mr. Photogenic, whilst Mr. College of Nursing and Medical Allied
Sciences Jestine Anne Bunuan won Ms. Photogenic.

"Overwhelmed po ako and I feel blessed po, and at the same time po, rewarding sa pakiramdam
dahil lahat ng pagod at puyat ay nabawi na po," also expressed by Ashanti Brilliant Valle, Ms.
COEd after winning Ms. Palarong Wesleyan 2023.

Meanwhile, Mr. College of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Karl Timothy Lasco and Ms.
College of Business and Accountancy Pamela Grace Matias were hailed as both 1st Runners-Up
and Mr. and Ms. Lenscab, while Mr. College of Education Arvin Jay Santos and Ms. College of
Hospitality and Tourism Management Norreen Kyna Cunanan came 2nd.
