A Detailed Lesson Plan

in English Grade 4 I. Objectives:


At the end of a 60-minute lesson, the students should be able to:
a) define what is possessive pronoun;
b) appreciate the value of using possessive pronouns in real life situations;
c) use possessive pronouns in sentences through a role play.

B. MOTIVATION

I have here a game entitled “MYSTERY BOX”.

I have here a mystery box that consists different


words which you will pick and after that you will
create sentences.

First, I will group you into four groups, the leader


will pick two words inside the box, after that all of
the members will construct sentences based from the
word picked. (the teacher divide the class into four
groups)

Are you ready children? : Yes teacher! ( the pupils will do the
activity)
The teacher gives the mystery box to the group.

IV. EVALUATION
I have here an activity entitled “CREATE AND PERFORM”. The pupils will perform a simple
role play using possessive pronouns properly and present it to the class. The class will divide into
two groups with different scenario to be followed. I will give the criteria in rating your
performance to the leader of the group. I will give you 5 minutes to practice for your role play.
Group # 1: School Canteen (Lloyd lost his wallet in the canteen and someone found it). Group
#2: Classroom (Cleaning the classroom)
