Objective:  Students should be able to read the familiar words
taken
 Students should recognize letters A,B,C ,D ,E
(uppercase and lowercase letters )
 Students have to isolate and pronounce the initial ,
medial , and final sound in three-phoneme words
 Associate the word with its picture (revision for the
words taken )
 Read and comprehend the stories .

 Sound Spelling Cards
 Papers , pencils , crayons , coloring pencils.

Brainstorming  What is the title of the story we took yesterday?


 1. What is your favorite animal ?
 2. What is your favorite food ?
 3. What is your favorite place near you?
Procedure  Write the date and weather on the whiteboard.
 watch video : Alphabets , months , days
 Show familiar words cards and read with students the
familiar words “
 Students will trace and write the letters taken on a
paper using paint while they say the sound of the
letters taken .
 They have to draw a word with the letters taken .
 Students hay to recognize the letter sound in words
and tell whether it is in the beginning, middle, or end)
 We will read the words taken
 We will read the Short stories (echo and choral
reading)
 I will emphasize the words taken and teach students
how to respond to reading and comprehend using the
following (with discussion starters): (MCQ)
Activities:  Watching video “Snack Attack”
 SEL : The Balloon : Students have to take a
deep breath and move on up and up like a
balloon (Brain Break activity )
Plan B:  Copy the Familiar words

Homework:  Listen and read the story “Elsa’s Hens”
