I.PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The product is a selection of fresh vegetables including eggplant, squash, petchay


cabbage and cucumber. These vegetables are commonly used in various dishes and can
be sold as individual items or in a mixed vegetable pack. Eggplant is a versatile
vegetable with a meaty texture and mild flavor. It can be roasted, grilled, or sautéed, and
is often used in Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. Squash is a type of summer vegetable
with a tender texture and mild flavor. It can be cooked in various ways such as boiling,
frying, or roasting. Petchay, also known as bok choy, is a leafy vegetable that is
commonly used in Chinese cuisine. It can be stir-fried, boiled, or used in soups.
Cucumber is a refreshing and hydrating vegetable that is commonly used in salads,
sandwiches, and as a healthy snack. Our vegetables are locally sourced and grown using
sustainable farming methods to ensure their quality and freshness. We aim to provide
high-quality vegetables that are not only delicious but also healthy for our customers.

II.OBJECTIVES

1. To establish a profitable vegetable selling business that caters to the


needs of the local community.

2. To provide fresh and high-quality vegetables to our customers at

3. To achieve profitability within the first year of operation and maintain a

III.MARKETING ASPECT

To promote the vegetables and increase sales, various marketing


strategies can be used such as advertising on social media platforms,
offering discounts to customers, collaborating with local restaurants to
feature vegetable dishes, and attending local farmers' markets. Social media
platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter can be used to
showcase vegetable recipes, health benefits, and promotions.
IV.DEMAND AND SUPPLY ANALYSIS

The demand for these vegetables may vary seasonally, with peak demand
occurring during certain times of the year when fresh produce is abundant.
The supply of these vegetables is generally stable throughout the year, as
they can be grown in greenhouses or imported from other countries during
off-seasons. The market price for these vegetables is subject to change
depending on supply and demand, as well as factors such as weather,
transportation costs, and government regulations.

V.MARKETING STRATEGY

To increase sales, the marketing strategy for these vegetables will focus
on promoting the health benefits and versatility of these vegetables. This can
be achieved by creating social media content featuring vegetable recipes,
partnering with local restaurants.

Product: The vegetable products offered are eggplant, squash, and petchay.
The product line can be expanded to include other fresh and high-quality
vegetables that are in season.

Price: The pricing strategy will be competitive but profitable. The prices will
be set based on the cost of production, market demand, and competitor
prices. Discounts and promotions will be offered to attract customers.

Place: The vegetables will be sold at the local market, grocery stores, and
online platforms.

Promotion: To promote the vegetable products, advertising through social


media platforms, flyers, and brochures can be done. Word-of-mouth
promotion can also be utilized by encouraging satisfied customers to
recommend the product to their friends and family.
VI.PRODUCTION ASPECT

The production process for these vegetables involves :

Sourcing: The vegetables will be sourced from local farmers to ensure


freshness and quality.

Planting. All the said vegetables were transplanted before they were planted
in the area permanently.

Land Preparation.The areas for the vegetables were prepared right they were
selected then, finely cleaned and cultivated.

Seeds or seedlings.The seeds of squash were bought in Agri Supply,


Maaddela, Quirino. The seeds of petchay were bought in MASA, Maddela,
Quirino. The seeds of cucumber were given freely by Sir Bengie. While the
seedlings of eggplant were bought in the campus nursery.

Transport and storage: The vegetables will be transported to the selling


points using appropriate transportation means, and stored in a cool and dry
place to maintain their freshness and quality.

Sorting and cleaning: The vegetables will be sorted and cleaned to remove
any dirt or debris.

Fertilizer Application.The fertilizers were applied after two weeks of


transplanting the plants.

Cultivation. The areas are monitored, cleaned and cultivated occasionally.

Pest management. The pest were managed through cultural or organical


control.Then, chemical control by using pesticides and insecticides.

Harvesting. Harvesting was done only if there are placed orders from
costumers. To maintain the freshness and quality of the products.

Packaging.The products were properly pack in a half cut styrofoam.Then


half coat of a plastic(malabo). Proper storage conditions must also be
maintained to ensure that the vegetables remain fresh and healthy for
customers to consume.
