Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, a lot of things had been stopped to avoid being
infected with the virus and to keep everyone safe. But now that everything’s
back to normal, things are also slowly going back to what it used to be just like
Girl Scouting and its activities such as Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme. Prior to
these, as a new chosen Chief Girl Scout of Campo National High School, I
proposed with the help of our Troop Leader Ms. Ma. Jeneva Sajulga to discuss a
specific plan on what kind of project I am going to work and we come up wih the
nursery for plants. It is about Nursery Nan Barangay of Brgy. Campo, Bacuag,
Surigao del Norte. In line with these, we approached the Brgy. Captain Carlos R.
Oval with the Brgy. Council and discuss with them the said pre-planned project
and they favorably agreed to it
PLANNING:
As discussed, and agreed, the said project will be erected beside the
Barangay Hall and at the back of PAMANA Building. The planning of the
project started on the first week of February 2023. It is a nursery for plants that
allows the seeds to grow healthy and vigorous and financed by the Barangay
Local Government Unit of Campo headed by Brgy. Captain Carlos R. Oval, my
troop leader, my workgroup, family and friends.
IMPLEMENTATION:
The said project was built in front of the new Barangay Hall and at the back
of the PAMANA Building in Brgy. Campo, Bacuag Surigao del Norte. The
project started last second week of February 2023 and completion date on the
second week of May 2023. The work group scheduled every weekend. The
specific project made possible under the administration of Brgy. Captain Carlos
R. Oval, the Purok Chairman and GSP of Campo National High School.
TURNING OVER OF THE COMMUNITY LEADERS:
Hoping that our community leaders would like our hard work and efforts
that they would take good care of the new Nursery Nan Barangay and make use
of it properly.
EVALUATION:
After being chosen to be the new aspirant Chief Girl Scout Medalist and
given the opportunity to lead once again made me grateful and happy at the same
time for I never expected that a graduating Senior High School Grade 12 student
like me would be given this kind of responsibility. One thing I learned about
serving the community while doing my project is that nothing really comes
easily. In order for me to achieve the goals that I set, I need to work hard for it. I
need to put efforts and invest myself in it for me to be satisfied with the result.
