Project Goals: This is a test run for using drones to distribute pharmaceutical supplies.
Given that the service is offered to clients in San Francisco, the procedure for handling
order submission, delivery confirmation, and a mobile app needs to be modified for
Wilmont's.
Only four (4) of Wilmont's pharmacies will take part in the prototype delivery system, it has
been decided.
These are geographically close to one another and are situated in a non-urban setting that is
primarily made up of suburban residences and small enterprises. Due of shipping concerns,
customers in apartment complexes won't be allowed in the prototype. Give the four
participating pharmacies all the knowledge they want regarding drone delivery technology so
that, by the time of the prototype's first flight, they are completely comfortable loading goods
into the drone package carrier and participating.
The project should probably cost much less than $750,000 overall, start on January 5 of the
following year, and have their first client delivery flight no later than November 30 to avoid
bad weather in the San Francisco region.
Establish a fruitful long-term partnership with a significant business and provide the greatest
advantages.
• Services Scope - prescriptions and drugstore goods can be delivered using a drone
equipped with the right interface.
Provide the changed hardware and technical system specifications needed to
complete the project for less than $750,000. Wilmont's will receive a project plan
with specific costs as part of the completed contract. Take care of product delivery
and drone operation. Customize the procedures for entering orders, confirming
deliveries, and a mobile app. Customers in the San Francisco area will be able to
register their readiness to have a drone deliver their orders by way of an interface-
enhanced online order entry process either online entry or smartphone entry. Offer
a technique for packing temperature-controlled items in bubble-type cushioning
for customer deliveries. appropriate training and testing procedures are provided
to guarantee the effectiveness of the new package release mechanism.
Primary Deliverables:
• Creating the suggested contract and payment schedule.
• An appropriate interface that is tailored to the client's business resources.
• Informing the pharmaceutical stores about the needs for delivery through
communication.
• Modifications to drone flight operations to deliver goods in difficult circumstances.
• An accounting of the costs in its entirety.
• A final report outlining the expenditures of competing as well as the lessons learnt.
Key Milestones:
Project Initiation- 5th January Product procurement and modifications- 4th May Modified

(to avoid harsh weather in San Francisco)
Constraints:
• Only 4 pharmacies will be taken into account for the experimental project.
• Due to delivery concerns, customers in apartment complexes won't be included in the
prototype.
• The $750,000 cap set by the firm leader should not be surpassed.
• Complete the job well in advance of November 30.
• Customization of the pharmacy delivery system's user interface in addition to the
project's use of drones.
• Only 4 drones will be used for the project, and their $18,034.00 cost will be added to
the overall budget.
• Security of customers and clients must be ensured.
Assumptions:
The system should incorporate a bubble-style cushioning mechanism in addition to a
temperature-controlled product bagging system.
For the project, just 4 pharmacies will be taken into consideration.
For this project, you need have spare drone batteries and parts worth $20,000 on hand.
For this prototype project, allot 4 new drones, which must be painted with the Wilmont
company's colors and emblem.
In order to avoid bad weather in the San Francisco area, the project should start on January 5
and the first client delivery flight should happen no later than November 30.
