Learning Objectives At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to write about their weekly timetable with
teacher’s guide.
Teaching & Pre-lesson:
Learning Activities 1. Revise the vocabulary on school subjects.
2. Pupils spell the words.
Presentation:
Activity 3: Read again and choose. TB Pg.17
1. Pupils read the story again and circle True for the sentences that are
True and False for the sentences that are False.
2. Ask pupils to compare their answers in pairs and then check as a
class.
Activity 4: Complete the table about yourself. Then ask and answer.
TB Pg 17 CD Track 23
1. Direct pupils’ attention to the two children and ask pupils what
they think they are doing. (The girl is asking the boy how often he
has English.)
2. Play the CD and ask pupils to repeat the exchange chorally.
3. Direct pupils’ attention to the table beneath the picture and explain
that first they will have to complete the table with the frequency
expressions that apply to them. Then in turns they will ask their
partner and complete the table with their partner’s answers.
4. Divide pupils into pairs and ask them to do the activity.
5. Exercise: WB
